- Fitment -- Perfectly fits 1 inch Hardy hole of an anvil, or can be used in a vise. Simply insert it into the anvils' hardy hole vertically and you can start your forging jobs.
- Function -- Used for hammering barstock into perfect conical rings or scroll shapes. It has a purpose similar to the round horn on an anvil but more consistent round shapes can be created with the help of this tool.
- Design -- This mandrel is smooth on all sides and does not contain a "tong" groove. Square shanks fit the square hole in the anvil and prevent rotation.
- Item Specifications -- The shank of mandrel is 3" long and square. The cone is approximately 10" long for an overall length of 13.31". The base is approximately 4" in diameter tapering at the tip to 1/4".
